Pink Ombre Mawa Modak with Dry Fruit Stuffing
These pink ombre mawa modak with dry fruit stuffing are so darling, we can't resist them! Modak is an Indian sweet dumpling that is said to be one of Lord Ganesh's favorites, so they are often made as offerings to help bring benevolence as he is the lord of success and destroyer of evils and obstacles. Made with mawa (dried milk evaporated milk solids), these steamed dumplings are addictively chewy and melt perfectly in your mouth, and with Suncore Foods® Pink Pitaya and Red Beet Powders, they are even more amazing to enjoy and/or offer as gifts! We love layers and contrasting textures, so the dry fruit stuffing is an amazing addition of crunchiness to go along with the soft, chewiness. If for whatever reason you may have any of these mouth-watering pink ombre dumplings leftover, they are great to save in the fridge for a few days later! A must try wonderful delicacy.
