Was just as advertised

I absolutely love this beet powder! I used it to create a vibrant red dough, and when combined with Achiote Powder, it makes a fantastic natural food coloring that doesn’t alter the flavor of the dough. My ratio is 4 tsp of beet powder to 1 tsp of Achiote powder, with just enough water (2-4 tsp) to form a paste. While the smell is strong at first, it disappears during mixing and baking. The result is a beautifully vivid red color. My only complaint is that the beet powder doesn’t seem to come in a large enough quantity for the price, but overall, it’s a great product!

I like the flavor

I recently tried Suncore Foods Organic Red Beet Powder, and I'm really impressed. I made some red white and blue sourdough bread for Memorial Day and the colors I achieved with the colored powders were nothing short of amazing! The powder doesn’t have a taste to it but it has a bold color quality without the additives like red #40 has. I feel confident and happy knowing my bread offers a healthy a fun pop of color without any unnecessary additives!
