Chrysanthemum Chia & Jelly Parfait
All happiness depends on a leisurely breakfast. There is no better way to start your day with a super delicious Chia & Jelly Parfait. This beautiful and luxurious parfait is a combination of Suncore Foods® Chia Seeds, Suncore Foods® Marigold Passion Fruit Supercolor Powder & Seeds, and Suncore Foods® Chrysanthemum Blossoms Superbloom. It is simply a match made in heaven. This fun and delicious snack will brighten up your day.
1/3 cup Suncore Foods® Black Chia Seeds
1 2/3 cup milk
Sugar to taste
4 tsp Suncore Foods® Marigold Passion Fruit Supercolor Powder & Seeds
2 1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Suncore Foods® Chrysanthemum Blossoms
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp agar agar
1. Chia Layer - Place Suncore Foods® Black Chia Seeds, milk, and sweetener in a mason jar, then stir to combine well. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before using. Divide chia pudding into 2 portions. Add Suncore Foods® Marigold Passion Fruit Supercolor Powder & Seeds and water to a small saucer and mix well. Place mixture in one of the divided chia puddings and mix until well incorporated. Cover and refrigerate until ready to be used.
2. Jelly Layer - Heat up water in a small saucepan until simmering and turn the heat off. Add chrysanthemum flowers in the boiling water. Cover the lid and let it infuse for 30-60 minutes. Once ready, scoop out the flowers and save for later. Add in sugar, agar agar powder then cook mixture on medium-low heat until sugar and agar agar powder dissolve. Bring mixture to a boil for about a minute. Turn off heat. Divide the jelly equally to the jars then gently place the reserved chrysanthemum flower onto the jelly. Transfer the jars to the chiller. Let them set for about 15 minutes or until solid to the touch.
3. To assemble, place yellow chip pudding directly on the jelly layer, followed by the white chia pudding. Enjoy!
