Almond Cinnamon Cookies

It's finally here! It's the most WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR! Christmas cookies and happy hearts, this is how the holiday starts. Get into the holiday spirit with this Festive Almond Cinnamon Wreath Cookie. You can turn your ordinary cookie into this whimsical, cute wreath with Suncore Foods® Emerald Pandan Leaf & Premium Midori Jade Matcha Supercolor Powders. May your days be merry and bright!

Ingredients

Almond Cinnamon Cookies:
115g all purpose flour
100g almond flour
1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon powder
80g powdered sugar
30g molasses
80g dairy free butter
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt

Icing:
40g aquafaba
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp vanilla extract
180g sifted powdered sugar
1-5 tsp Suncore Foods® Emerald Pandan Leaf  and Premium Midori Jade Matcha Supercolor Powders

Directions

1. Make the Icing — In a stand mixer, beat aquafaba with cream of tartar and salt until foamy. Add all powdered sugar and beat on low speed until thick. Beat in Emerald Pandan Leaf and Premium Midori Jade Matcha Supercolor Powders and beat until thickened. Thin the icing with water to the desired consistency if needed.

2. Decorate cookie pieces with royal icing. Let dry completely.
