Protein Almond Cookies

Here's our take on the classic almond cookie.

Ingredients

1 pack Suncore Foods® Chocolate Turmeric Protein Shake
½ cup almond flour
3 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon baking soda
pinch of Suncore Foods® Rose Salt
sliced almonds

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°.

2. In a large bowl, combine the Suncore Foods® Chocolate Turmeric Protein Shake, almond flour, salt, baking soda, butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough like consistency.

3. Roll dough into balls about ¾ inches wide and place about an inch apart on a lined baking sheet. Slightly press down on the balls using your palm to flatten.

4. Place a sliced almond onto each cookie and lightly press them into place.

5. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until the edges begin to tan.

6. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

7. Enjoy!
